MVR Evaporation

Working Principle

An MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) system uses a steam compressor (e.g. a Roots steam compressor) to mechanically compress the low-pressure secondary steam generated by the evaporator, thereby raising its enthalpy (temperature and pressure). The compressed steam then passes through a heat exchanger, condenses, and releases latent heat to evaporate more liquid. Since the latent heat of the recycled steam is reused, the process requires little or no fresh steam once running. This maximizes energy recovery, improves thermal efficiency, and minimizes fuel consumption.

หลักการทำงาน
